I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Harvard blue k20a eg!!

Post by roadrunner1 » February 05, 2008

first off thanks to several friends for the help of the hole swap, hercules, miyagi, and of coarse my g/f...haha who did some budgeting...over the past 4 months i have been purchasing several parts to install my k20a2 into my eg...i pulled my gsr and sold it for enough to purchase the motor...put the stock d-series back in and drove it for the time being...here are some pics of the install...decided to go a few different routes with certain things such as the fuel lines and the clutch line...let me know what you guys think!!

the motor before installImage d15 is pulled and cleaned up!Image and now to clean the k20 before install
Image
decided to just mount the shifter box instead of going with the karcepts kit Image Image for the fuel lines i decided to just keep it clean and simple with using rubber fuel hose from autozone instead of using the steel braided lines...got the idea from a friend aka hercules on the forum...thanks man Image
Image Image parts list:
-k20a2 motor,tranny, ecu etc.
-hondata kpro
-dc sports swap header
-hasport egk1 mounts
-hybrid racing harness
-rsx base axles
-aeromotive fpr
-ep3 idler pulley/bracket
-hasport hose adapter
-dc5 type r shift knob

looking forward for some future track and seat time ;) ...and waiting for the flashlight drags in Ebensburg!!
