^ kinda already did that..hooked up a battery jumper directly to the starter and grounded it, still nothing.

12v to the solenoid? the small connection. Adding 12v+ to the big nut will do nothing as it has a direct line from the battery.

k, now i cant even push start it. pulled the spark plugs, 3 of 4 had some nasty orange-ish corrosion on the upper part of the plug and the wire on the part the connects to the plug..could this have caused my problem?

well, spark plugs/wires arent the problem.if the alternator gets wet, does that make it completely unusable?

If your alternator is wet it will turn over but not start. Take it apart and hit it with a hair dryer for a couple minutes.

dont know how/ where. tried searching, the good links ended up being dead. im gonna check the dizzy tomorrow and see what goin on with it..and the main relay if i can figure out how

The main relay is in the fuse box under the hood.
