I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Yeah DON'T pull the pintels out. They are the little needle looking thing coming out of the injector. You can however pull the cap that goes over/around it off. (The part that you are missing on the one injector.)
I don't know if the caps are the same from h22/h23 but if you need one let me know and I'll ship you one off of my old set of injectors (find out if it fits first and then let me know...)
Yeah, the cap is what i was refering to for pulling off. I ordered the New Head bolts and some other misc stuf (ended up spending another 200$ ) I'll go out with some pliers tomarrow and see what i can do but if you can get me a couple caps, or even atleast one that would be cool. Im also in need of that connector for the VTEC OP switch but i am going back home next friday and might be able to get one off an integra i have sitting.

Check first on the size. They should be the same but could be slightly off. Not sure the size of the vtec IM holes for the injectors vs. the h23's...

they are the same, atleast the insulators that sit in the IM where the injector goes in are the same so the dimension of the injector cap i would assume has to be the same also.

So i guess that spot that blew out is the evap purge sensor, it happens when the IAT and Evap plugs get swappped i guess but the ECU should work fine. Taking it monday to Innovative to see what they say but should work out fine. On a side note, this weather sucks. I couldnt help it but i dropped the engine on and used my H23 head bolts for now just didnt torque them and put the engine together. Still need to get that crank pulley off so i can do all that but gonna see if i can locate the tool to try and get this together if possible.

Also, trying to decide what i want to do about wheels. I am thinking about rocking the Si wheels for another summer and putting more money into this engine now. Either way we'll see. Ordered another 250$ worth of stuf from honda last night and funds are starting to get lower for wheels/tires...

Got the cap off one of the H23 injectors so were good for them. Calling Majestic in the AM to add a couple parts then we should be 100% for next week as long as i can find one of those connectors for the OP switch. Taking the P28 up to innovative when i get out of class so will update afterwards...

That tool is 60$ off honda also through majectic, list shows almost 80$. unless i can get something cheap at autozone to do the job Might need to bring that impact stil next weekend...

bored as helllll and figured i would snap a quick pic of so far. was getting pissed about the exhaust manifold not bolting up right but i remembered i have the engine mount out so the engine is sitting lowwer/crooked so i guess i can stop bitching about that. Cam gears look rusted as hell in the pic so gonna take a wire brush to them again and some brake cleaner to spiffy them up a bit and make sure everything is smooth. Other than that anxious to get this shit finished. waiting another week to finish it is killing me
