Is it a crime to paint carbon fiber? i was lookin at the pix chinga posted and one of the tegs he showed has cf fenders

i like cf hoods and hachies but not a big fan of fenders i figure there lighter, but would you consider it a crime to paint em?

i dont think i could paint over carbon. just me. i love the look of it. cf fenders look awesome on a black car. black/carbon fiber is 1 of my fav combinations ever.

I've seen alot of carbon fiber parts sprayed over with just a few coats of color so the cf still shows through. That looks rad.

or if you have pearl paint, just spray the hood with the pearl... looks good...

yea, about the fenders...
how much do your guys' fenders weigh? my fenders (both jdm/usdm) weigh like less than a pound EACH. i would hope people wouldn't buy them for weight savings... :ohmy:

well just make sure if you paint ofer it to primer it 1st...the paint might chip off if you dont
