First good race on new setup

average build 9.0:1 gsr in ek hatch
stock sleeves
top mount
no name t3/t4 63a/r
3 inch open dp
b16 trans open diff
on crome right now hondata needs repaired
rough street tune on 9 psi

Well i was on my way home tonight and took the boulevard way..decided to take an extra lap around before i go home and a white mustang rolls up beside me. I think to myself..omg this prick just ran a 11.6 @ 120 i have no chance. So i do a pull past him to let him know i want a peice. Then we get to do like 3 runs from 2nd gear and i end up pulling on him once i get traction at the top of third shifting into 4th, all 3 times. He did have 2 guys with him and i was by myself so i'm not gonna say i have an 11 sec car or anything. I'm sure he would dust me if he was by himself and from a dig.

I'm just really really excited i'm in that area, i havent ran my car at the strip yet but i hope to hit some mid 12's @ 115ish.

Also the mustang owner was my age and is a pretty cool dude, he was pumped about my car being quick. So i just wanted to share my story with you guys because super pumped haha

I'll have to get some pics up of my car, its a bit multi-colored right now tho.

yeah man mines probably a little worse tho. Car is vsm with duanne's tank green fenders/front bumper, silver grille, black hatch, then red gt3's to top it off. haha

I raced this mustang again the other night. This time he had 1 passenger and i was alone. 3rd gear roll 45mph..i tapped limiter @ 8500rpm 4th gear and i had like half a car on him!

haha thats awesome man. I love when guys in mustangs or cameros act like their car is all hot shit then lose a honda/acura, just makes me smile....i still never here the end of it from my dad though, he's always bustin on me for driving a honda and stuff, but i guess he can talk because he was a pretty mean 1973 Trans Am with a built 455 in it. its fast and extremely torquey, so fun to ride in...
