yeah, unfortunately, the DC5 is a returnless fuel system, so I'm using the largest high impedance injectors RC makes to avoid running all new fuel lines, etc. The Hondata boost solenoid is better, imo, because if something happens to it, it will bypass itself and open the wastegate for you, meaning you won't run 20psi or something crazy (apparently that's how the GM works). Also, people on clubrsx seem to have issues, perhaps its a setup problem, I'm not sure. You can use the vtec port on a honda, but then there is issues with potentially breaking the adapters off in them from vibrations. The sandwich mount is more solid and the adapter is a lot thicker, so there is less likelyhood of having a problem.kotomile wrote:Great list, should be fast once done!
It's interesting to note what the Honda crowd does boost-wise compared to the Miata dudes. We re-use so much crap, like the factory oil feed port, the gauges go in the factory air vents, PNP RX7 injectors, GM boost solenoids, etc.

well I talked to a few folks, and they said go atleast a 52 wheel on the exhaust side. But precision is upgrading their lineup, and the replaceament for the 6152 is the 6162e. Which I can get brand new for 799$. So I'm gonna list my turbo on ebay today, and hopefully get a few hundred for it, and then buy the 6162e
How hard would it be to run a return line? Has anyone else done it in the RSX community? IIRC the GM defaults to WG pressure too, but they are prone to failure, it's a GM product after all haha. I bought two just in case. Also good call on not using the VTEC port for oil, that wouldn't be a good idea at all. The Miata, lucky me, comes with an oil feed port standard, which is just plugged with a bolt from the factory. Technically it has a return port also but its halfway up the block on the wrong side, so I drilled my pan anyway.
its not hard per say, its just cost. You use the factory -6 line for a return, and then run typically a -10 or something for a feed line. We're talking 800$~ for a return like, FPR, fuel rail, etc. Not really economical. I know a guy in maryland that has a sc6152e on his revhard, and made 370whp on 650cc's and stock rsx fuel pump. He was at 85% duty cycle, so I'm thinking 750's plus an intake should actually be perfect for 375-400whp.kotomile wrote:How hard would it be to run a return line? but yeah, I don't want to use the vtec port or mess with that at all. I'll just get the oil sandwich adapter and do that. I ordered my adapter fittings from summit today, plus 2 rolls of heat wrap and what not.
