I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

haha AC is the least of my problems, its really the power steering line causing the hang up, I'm just afraid its going to catch on fire if I leave it the way it is.

bought a line bender and bent the lines in reverse. got shit setup perfectly now I think it's all going to work finally!

still have a huge list of shit to do but most of the big 'modify' stuff is done now. the downpipe got delayed on shipping so I won't get it til thursday. My goal is to have it completely done and ready for the downpipe thursday night, and fire it up then :D

injectors are wired up and gauges are wired at the gauge pod, I need to finish hooking up the gauges. was gonna put oil in the engine and tranny. crank the motor with the fuel pump fuse pulled to make sure I get oil at the turbo then replace the fuel pump fuse and check the fuel system for leaks.

I'm gonna get an air filter for the valve cover and the turbo inlet, then install all my charge piping. I'll have to plumb all my vacc/boost sources next and wire up the boost solenoid. Install my downpipe/dump pipe, o2 sensors, sway bar, headlights, bumper cover(which might need trimmed to fit the intercooler) and hood. Upload my base map and go for a ride :D

get the exhaust welded up friday sometime and then I'll be ready for the weekend and to rent some dyno time.

I have an inlet filter here, if you want it you can have it for free. Its a K&N cone shaped filter 3" I.D. opening and 7" long. When I switched manifolds the filter wouldnt fit anymore.

thanks man, but I grapped a pancake style APC 4" because a few other rsx guys run them since they're cheap and they do a decent job. it was 20$ lol. Problem is its really a tight fit with my AC line, so its either a new A/C line or get some 4" exhaust piping and make a CAI for my filter :P haha, we'll see what happens. I got the filter on there fine but it might need tweaked. thanks for the offer though!

here's what I'm dealing with now:

go get jason's k&n.

ask 30 stones what happened to his 2871r when he bought a cheapo filter at carlisle 2 years ago.... sucked the plastic from the tip of the filter, chewed up his fins. Didn't even realize it until he took it off to sell it. Ended up selling a 1000 dollar turbo that goes for ~700 used for like 300 bucks.

Just remember that your setup is only as strong as your weakest link. Trust me on that one hah
