anyone excited for this?

jason is by far my FAVORITE out of all the horror flicks. jason takes manhattan was the last GOOD jason that was released. after that it went downhill.

by the looks of the new michael bay remake this movie looks like its going to be amazing. i am so excited for this movie you have no idea. i get chills watching the trailers. i am so pumped up for feb 13th!! i hope this is not another movie letdown. if its anything like the remakes of the texas chainsaw massacres im in for a treat!

im also pumped for the release of FT13 on blu-ray. its the uncut version. the version that was never released to the states due to the high gore factor. comes out on feb 3rd. already pre-ordered

just got home from the 7:30 showing. blown away. i think bay did a fantastic job on this movie!

they touched a little bit on the original 1980 flick and i like the fact they didn't try to add to the story from the other horrible additions. they started from scratch and really put a modern day twist on things. it will never compare to the original few films from the 80s (shit what modern day horror flick compares to anything from the 80s?) but this move was by far one of my favorite modern day slasher flicks. i really wish michael bay would start over with the halloween series and take rob zombie off those projects because he really ruined that.

bay did a fantastic job with texas chainsaw massacre and again i give huge props on the new friday the 13th. he really knows how to make a modern day remake to a classic slasher flick. IMO.

And the ending will seem familiar to fans of the franchise.
ill admit it, i jumped. twice (and i was smiling from ear to ear, that dont happen very oftin)

i want to go back and see this again. im so excited for this to come out on blu-ray. im a friday the 13th maniac. got the original on blu-ray the day it was released (feb 3rd) this is the year for jason, i know it.

I will admit I havent seen any of the previous jason movies in their entirety, so I dont really know what they were like, but this one was sweet.

I saw it with my buddies on friday and it was definitely worth it, the intro was nuts, and jason had some serious moves in that movie, murderin people in all sorts of bad ass ways. hahaha

And there was a solid amount of t&a which I always appreciate.

im a bit of an obsessed freak, just got done watching this again. thats #4 for me. i cannot wait till this gets released on blu-ray i would camp in front of a store for this. i LOVE this remake, im incredbly obsessed with jason voorhees & horror in general. i already see the new theme of the haunt for 2009

i love the fact they casted derek mears for jason and how incredibly bad ass he made jason in this movie. if your a horror fan and familiar with the hills have eyes 2 remake you would have an understanding who mears is.
