I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Should have said something, man. I got a few pictures. I didn't roam the field and take pictures of everything, though. I didn't even take any pics of the booth. haha.

I think the show has changed because the industry has changed. New cars don't lend to modifications like earlier models. And the models that do have backing from the aftermarket are 25k+ to buy brand new. I can tell you that if I spend 30 some thousand on a new car, I'm not going to tear into it. I think they should have a swap meet in conjunction with it. I'd love to look for used parts...jdm and usdm. Think of the DSM guys...they love partzzzz! Treat it like every other Carlisle show...ie Vettes, GM, Mopar, etc.

I'll definitely be there next year. Hopefully Betty's motor, turbo, and bay are done.

They've got quite a variety!
I like the rat rod. A '47 Chevy cab would be really nice to work with. I prefer more of a "daily rod" than the full-on rat rod. It can be beat, but needs to be a little more complete if it were mine.

John saw enough of Betty on the way home. Which is why he had to get in front of me...so he wasn't asphyxiated.

just got home form the show. good seeing everyone once again.
as for the show.. it just keeps getting worse and worse every year. will it be booming ever again? its hard to say. will i return next year? possibly. i hope my civic is drivable next year. i missed not having it there. i didnt take a camera. there were a few very very very nice cars there.

the sti parked @ dans booth was mind blowing. the black sti that was featured in some mag just recently on some volks was there. was incredible. a few VIP tuned cars that really blew my mind with all of there junction produce parts and of course colticehockey's tsx looked good as ever.
yup, twas me. bummed goldy didn't come :\

Betty doesn't like 70mph at 3800rpm. She's just on the verge of building boost and she starts to dump the gas.

Somehow Jay was able to sleep in it. hahaha. Goldy isn't much better. Betty just has more fuel. :x

I was out like a light a few times on the way home. Only times i woke up is when my teeth would chatter from the Function Forms blasting some bumps, and someone imitating dicks going in my mouth while passing other cars. :o
