I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

so it seems like there are quite a few people starting new jobs on here so i thought i would start a thread for people to talk about there jobs if they want.
so i'll start. I started working here in Akron, Oh about three weeks ago at the Goodyear World Headquarters as an intern in the Environmental Health and Safety Dept. for Research, Development and Engineering. So far i have enjoyed it. I have gotten to see some really cool things and meet alot of really nice and really important people in the tire world. Probably the the coolest thing i have seen so far in the Goodyear blimp up close. It is really amazing and so big. I also got to see the cockpit but i was not able to ride in it haha. If i am able to get pic of some other interesting things i see i will post them up but they are very strict when it comes to taking photographs, which is very understandable. But here is a picture of the blimp that i was able to take yesterday out at the airship hanger

Super cool.
I'm at the same job for 2.5 years, still enjoying it.
I am back in school, though, which is sweet.

my jobs been good. im still training so being the new guy is always a drag.
i always second guess myself if i made the right move for the time being. hopefully after training things pickup a bit. im nervous about loosing hours. i took the paycut understanding i would easily get 40 hours a week with the busyness of the company. so i have my fingers crossed for that. if i dont make 40 a week im not sure what ill do.

just got an email this morning stating that they are going to take all the co-op's and interns to Norwalk for the NHRA races at the end of the month. pretty pumped about that! Pit passes, get to meet the drivers, and stand right at the starting line for the races! My roommate went last for it and said its and awesome time
