I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Nice find! I've been too lazy to log in lately (this site logs me out randomly for some reason) so I just saw this thread, glad to see more turning to the Miata.
Be careful with the authentic Garage Vary lip. The GV lip is one case where the knockoff (Touge Run) is more desirable, because it's made of a more flexible material.
Looks like you're coming along. Have you thought about FI? It really transforms the car.

But thanks Koto! I never thought I'd own one, but the more I saw them, and strolling through clubroadster, I knew I needed one haha.
That's crazy about the authentic one, mine seems pretty durable but not AS durable as the knockoff poly honda ones haha. I will drive safe with it though, I'm not planning on going any lower haha.
And yeah, FI will most likely come over winter, I will start to piece it all together if I can get my wheels, roll bar, and seats in by the winter.

Thanks man. Yours is coming along too. Very clean. Register on miataturbo.net for info on FI and lurk awhile. Don't mention drift, JDM, or clubroadster over there though. You'll be flamed mercilessly.
The GV gets more brittle over time, it took a year or so for mine to get brittle enough to crack. The TR though, you can pretty much wring it and drive over it with a car and it springs back to shape.
