I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

tjdm has a photy gallery you can upload to then link the pics to the post?
i can probably add the upload feature to the post itself. just kills bandwidth. (not that we are struggling now with only a handful of posters) ill look into it after october

Re: Eunos
Thanks guys for all the kind words! I am steering away from the 'hella flush' fad, and would rather get something going that's more 365 days a year friendly, and track worthy. So, I'm slowly saving cash. My girl lost her job, so were doing carbon fiber/kevlar sidework to get her some money, but it's also killing me because I have to cover most of the bills now.
So! My plans are this, in order:
First things first, Blizzak tires for my stock wheels for the winter. They're a must have for Miata's in crazy snow lol.
Hard Dog Hardcore roll bar
14X7 +19 Enkei RPF1's (not sure on what tires I'm going to run, but they will be 195/60's
8MM spacers (maybe...still not sure)
Complete engine rebuild (OEM internals, but will have ARP headstuds and a cometic head gasket)
BOOST!
I'm still trying to find a hardtop for a good deal around here, hopefully I'll pick one up.
OH! Almost forgot, I did trade my Garage Vary front lip for an OEM front lip plus 100$ cash on his side. I got a damn good deal! It will accommodate the cars styling much more when I get the new wheels on there also.
Here's a preview of the lip:

I know it looks like somewhat of a downgrade, but it gives me more ground clearance, cleaner styling, and the holes in the lips have built in ducts that point toward my brakes
Basically, I just want this car to tear it up at the track by next summer. So, if my girl gets a job within the next month, expect big things

Re: Eunos
Dude, if you're serious about wanting to boost and to track the car, you NEED to come over to miataturbo.net and start lurking/searching. If you decide to go ahead and post.. you might get flamed a bit for the "CR"-ness of your Miata, but nothing too bad, I hope.
Look into Savington and Hustler's setups. Those are two of the fastest privateer turbo Miatas out there. Quick rundown of them: nice suspensions, built NB engines, "ABSURDflow" manifolds w/ V-band flanged turbines, driver mod.
There's a wealth of info there not just about how to boost, how to tune, etc., but also about not blowing up on track, sealing your heat exchangers, not having to re-install your turbo after each session, brake mods, aero, etc.

Yeah I've always lurked over there. Never posted because of exactly what you said lol. I'll check out those builds though, maybe give me some inspiration. Thanks for the input!
