I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

ES universal N1 muffler.... *opinion*

Post by _drew » January 28, 2004

i have been looking for a canister style muffler for a long time now... specifically one with a tip of 3 - 3 1/2 inches.. and its been really tough...

i was browsing jdmhondaparts.com , and found this... can anyone give me there thoughts or opinions on it... maybe you know someone who has one themselves... i really like it.

also, anyone know other sites that might sell it, or something closely related to it???
Image thanks in advance...

well to be honest, I don't like the tip... the way it forms outward at the end... I have the same reservations about the Spoon sports N1 axle back... it has that edge on the end which I really don't like...

but I'm not sure what other axle back I'd want... it MUST be a decent one in performance, as that's moast important really... so maybe a Mugen twin loop?
But then again... that doesn't have the nicest tip in the world either... maybe I'll go for an Apex'i thingie or something...

ah f*ck who cares... that's a year away before I will even start thinking about it

i actually like the design of it, strangely enough. i just wouldn't sport it on the rex because of unwanted attention (los angeles cops for one).

i heard that es came out with a 3'' application (their straight through non-n1 muffler). does anyone know if there's any truth to this rumor? it'd be REALLY cool to have a "stock" looking exhaust on the crx after the boosted b20.

i have a 2 1/4" "es" style muffler.. i love the look of it, but ive always loved the look of the spoon n1 and mugen twinloop because of the size of the tip on them... this may have to do.

i cant find anything else with a 3" tip... HELP ME :-)

hi temp (insert name here, i don't know it)
