i found something that i cant figure out what it means/is, it was in knockoff's sig...
my one friend has something like it on his keychain that he got off of his trueno front clip....
so does anyone know what the one on the right is?

the one one the left is "old driver" , and the one on the right is "young driver".

they are hung in the back window in japan.

the young driver one indicates that you just started driving with your license. Driving on the streets in Japan can be very hectic at times. Other drivers respect you with this badge and you usually have the right of way.

id imagine that the old driver one would gain you the same respect, but opposite from the new driver one

^ wouldn't the old driver badge gain you more respect than the new one? Or was that what you were trying to say?

I only ask because I know in Japan young people respect elders much more than in the states, but maybe your wording threw me off?

how long do you have to drive with that on the back of your car before you get the old driver one?

hmm.. i think what i meant was that "opposite" meant they respected you for driving for so long.

kinda like.. they respect the new drivers.. cause they are new... and they respect the old drivers because they are experienced... which are kind of opposites.. kinda.. i was tired when i wrote that.. and to tell you the truth.. im still really tired.. haha

i believe the ochiba symbol (the one on the left) is ELDER drivers not older drivers...... i could be wrong... i was reading that drifters like putting that on their cars to make people think theyre slow and once they engage on the race they show that the sign was to trick them.
