I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

None of the above unless you're not the one paying for everything. You could get a much cooler/faster/better car by buying something with less cost of ownership. Save the sports cars till after you turn 25. Or 21 at least.

...yeah, thats what i said, I called American Family, General, Geico, and Allstate, and that was the cheapest ><, its like 750/6mo for liability only, but i gotta get a loan to get a new car, so I would have to get comp/collision, which brings the grand total to... $2610/6mo, DEEDOO!!

I don't know if there is a 21st Century around here, ill have to look into it. And I donno, maybe my Operation w/o a drivers licence, wreckless endangerment, obstruction of justice tickets, made it so high lol

Well, I would get a 93-01 Impreza. If not that, a 240sx or Miata. All of those are cheap to buy, and any of those with a low boost turbo kit would own any stock mk3 Supra, N/A Z, and give a good run to a TT Z on the straights and be quicker in the corners. The same goes for a Civic, or just about any of the cheaper to buy cars, but they're not as unique or cool. For example an Impreza you can get a good condition one for $2000, spend about $800 on a 2.5 swap and $2000 turboing it, and own modded WRX's all day long. Spend another $1000 building the internals, turn up the boost or give it a dose of nitrous (or both) and you'll have a monster. Or simply swap the 260hp JDM motor for about $3000, or even the 300+hp closed deck RA-C engine if you can find one.

The DSM is not a bad choice, but you do know those things tend to break a lot of parts once you start modding if you don't know exactly what you're doing, right? I know a few people with some really high power DSM's, and I think their cars spend more time in the shop than they do driving.

Ive heard :(

-Also, any Z I would be able to afford would most likey have an expired turbo due to high mileage.

-And, MA70's (7M) are known for going through head gaskets like a kid through cap'n crunch.

I looked into Impreza's for a while, and kinda forgot, I'll have to look into them again, I love my dad's WRX and I would LOVE to smoke the fuck outta his 30k car with my 2k, ROFL!!!!!!
