I'm thinking about getting the jdm navigation, and I have heard that you can get it to work in the US if you have a chip from an Acura with navigation. Is there any truth to this? Does anyone know? I really want the damn thing, but I'd also like to be able to get it to work.

munster you gotta get that, that thing looks so sweet. The back of it says its made by Alpine. Call them up and ask them how u can get the thing working.

I'm almost positive that I need something from a CL to get it to work in the US. I don't know what the part is, though.

Ya i bet you just have to call up acura and they could get the rigfht stuff to make it work in the states. That would be awesome!!

the gps can be made to work here in the us, all the baller acura's have gps and work on the sme type system. i'm am 100% sure they would have the correct setup if not. A local shop can make that intoa cd/dvd player and that woud be pimp.
