looking for a cheap sohc vtec minus tranny

if n e one knows where i can get one please let me know.. d16z6 or y8 will work.. its for my 91 4 door i picked up for 100 bucks. i wanna make it into a sleeper but with an affordable engine because i do not have alot of extra money right now but it needs an engine to be moved. thanks for any help

The Z6 and Y8 would both be motors with different OBD generations than the car. You could make it plenty quick by installing a D16A6 or ZC, and skip the wiring headache. There's a guy locally that put a D16A6 in his four-door ED and he's faster than me in autoX (he's a faster driver). It was actually the D16A6 from my CRX...

as far as the obd part of it .. all i have to do is change the intake manifold to the spare obd 0 one i have laying in my garage and that problem would be solved
