I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Talk about mistaken identity...

*moved and accidentally deleted then moved again*

A friend of mine from college (who has yet to register here I may add..) just got a certified letter in the mail saying that he has a court date at the end of the month for various offenses. Reckless Driving? Street Racing? DUI? Murder? Nope...none of the above. He is being summoned to court because he sold cigarettes to a minor at his store in another part of the state. The thing is...he doesn't own a store. All he owns is his Celica. Seems that the cops supoenad (spelling?) him instead of the real owner who has the same name, but a different middle name. When Doug called the sheriff that issued the papers they told him that he would have to pay $50.00 and still go to the hearing even if he wasn't involved. Everyone says how stupid cops are, but this is definitely one case that takes the cake.

I told him to get a little cash out of it for himself. They were the idiots that sent the papers to a 26 year old who lives over 50 miles away rather than a middle aged man with a different middle name who lives in the same town as the store.

Eat another donut. I think they're killing the remaining brain cells...

Damn, that sucks bro. Cops do fucking suck at times. And this proves that they are lazy as shit. Get the wrong guy, and don't even try to correct it. Unless I mis-read this.

Doug is hosed. I'm still trying to convince him to at least get a little money out of it. At least lost wages and time.

I'd settle for a street brawl with the cop minus his badge and gun.

damn man that really sux ass.. there HAS to be something he can do about it.. same thing sorta happend to my friend lats month... he just got hired by IBM, so when they were doing his backgroud check they just did it by his name.. instead of his full name or social... so they found an eduardo Reyes that was wanted for something, so my poor friend had to hire a lawyer and make IBM do a REAL background check.. talk about dumbasses.
