I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I actually am getting the JDM S13 rear end with vlsd, and then will probably upgrade to the 2 way CUSCO LSD, used by Signal Auto. That will be complemented with an EnjukuRacing 1 piece Aluminum Driveshaft. :2:

or u could just save all the money from all that JDM crap and just slap a kaaz in there and be done with.our shop 240 went 11.7@121mph with just a kaaz, stock rearend, stock driveshaft.

im scared of the miles on my rear end, mainly 193,xxx miles. plus swapping in a JDM rear end is cheaper at first. That wont have so many miles on it.

What motor is in your shop 240? What kind of power you making? Sounds like it has about 450.

our shop 240 has the redtop s13 det.basic upgrades,t3t4 turbo(small trim)3" turbo back exhaust,hks 264-272 cams,rocker arms,tomei headgasket,arp headstuds,kaaz limited slip,and so on....

we have another shop 240 that has the redtop as well, with t28 ball bearing turbo,555cc injectors,z32 MAS,kaaz LSD(on order) 3" turbo back, and so on...

then there is a 3RD in order(lol) its an s14,with the garret disco potato,555cc injectors, and blah blah blah, basically the same shit the others have.

I want either the redtop or blacktop s13 sr version also. Unsure of which one I want exactly, low miles preferably.

none that I know of between the s13 blacktop and redtop. However s14 blacktops have a VVT of sort, and a t28??? turbo instead of the t25 used on the s13. s13s also have a high port head.

s13" 205hp
s14 220hp
s15 247hp

the only difference between the redtop s13's and the blacktops is basically mileage.the blacktops tend to have lower miles since they are from the newer s13's...

the det didnt really change in design until the s14,but with that only little basic differences, such as variable valve timing, different designed intake manifold, and so on....
