I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

are you sponsered or just in debt?

Post by fcdrifter » August 09, 2003

Here is a question thats been bugging me forever. I see cars all the time that have alot of money into them, with high name brand parts to even $3000 seats. My question is basicly this, are most people with totaly fixed up cars in debt or just lucky as hell to get sponsered, or did they work hard for the sponsership and then what, or do they just make good money? see i would like to some day be able to put the parts i want into my car such as a nice set of coilovers most likely jic if i ever get that kinda of money, rs watanabe wheels probably 15's forgot what model number they were and repaint the car get the exhaust done ( it has a major leak near the pre silencer and its annoying ) and so on and so on. But when i think about all those things, the only thing that comes to mind is a damn credit card, which i dont want to get into. so can someone please explain to me how the hell someone like warrens car, or all these all star cars with damn advan rims and rare ass gab wheels can afford to do it all, i dont mean to be nosey or anything it just its been really depressing looking at all these cars for so long wondering how the hell they did that. thanks
i wish i could afford coilovers...

everything on my car was bought by me... my CC has a 1500 limit (nothing super high) so i cant go hog wild with it. other then that everything is paid for. except the car itself i have like another year on that to go. but everything you see on my civic is hard earned.
