i was just curious what everyone is doing/getting there dad's?

my dads been letting me live under his roof for 22 years now and i think im really going to get him something great (i guess its more for me then him but whatever)

i was looking around at new tv's i cant afford nothing massive. but i have my eyes set on a sony 32" flat screen. since i get paid the friday before fathers day i think im going to get my uncles truck and get the tv and surprise my dad friday evening when he comes home from work..

i would love to be able to afford one of those widescreen 61" bad boys but its just not in the budget right now. here is the one i was looking at..

welp im going to buy the tv today. tj and i. i found a better tv. a lil more expensive but still in my price range. its a 36" sony trinitron. flat panel w/a memory card slot. hdtv ready 5 video jacks and 2 s-video jacks.. the only reason i want one so bad is because we have a bad ass home theature system i bought a few years ago for my dads birthday and yet we still have a shit tv from like 1989. i figured its time to get with the program and utilize all this crazy bullshit we got. digital cable. home theature. videogame mania

well tj just got here im off to buy a tv. peace!

holy crap this tv is amazing. the color and everything about it is spectacular. it even has a memory card slot on the front so i can pop it out of my camera and slide it right into the tv and check out my pics.

money well spent. im just waiting on sears to call me about the tv stand. ordered and waiting delivery...

i know the pic is a lil shitty but thats the setup. same stand and close to the same tv. mines a few models up though
