I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

JDM styleeeee y0...

Post by Bart-EK » July 28, 2004

well... you know how everybody and their mother is going JDM style nowadays... normally resulting in uberrice in stead of what they said they'd do?

well...

here's a new one... it's not a car... it's MY (or better yet, my parents') garden!!!
Completely in style, but nothing is really japanese off course (what idiot would pay for that shit to be transported for gods sake... that would cost more than the mortgage...)

anyways... some pics I just took:
Image Image Image Image Image tell me what you think... I think it's teh hotness... even thoguh it's mostly handmade (by my father) stuff... all the wood stuff, like the portals, chairs, floors... you know... all of it except the lamps :)

munster... working on that... little bit of new age JDM y0...

my dad and I (yeah man, that old dude ROCKS!) are building me a bed, for which I'll be getting a waterbed insert (we're building the enclosure ourselves)

will be black wood, massive feet, so it looks teh hotness...

and I'm getting me a closet with 2 big sliding doors, jdm style... so basically black wood again, squares, with ricepaper-look in it... (just getting some plexiglass (uhm... dunno the name in english if it differs... basically plastic glass... lexan windows y0) and I'll put some tint on it... (you know, milk glass look)...

not sure about the rest though... walls are allready white... blue carpet unfortunately... guess getting a wood floor might become too expensive... need to save SOME money for the car :)

ah well... jdm bedroom on it's way...

Sweet, my mom would like that garden, it's def. in the japanese style.

You should make "engrish" garden signs! If you don't know what engrish is: http://www.engrish.com

hahahaaaaa no I'm trying to get a japanese friend of mine to get me some GENUINE and PROPER japanese Kanji for use in this garden... no WAY that I'm doing that...

nobody here in Holland will understand the engrish joke... but they all will be able to understand what is actually written (english is pretty big in holland... and even the illiterate know enough english to understand most of what the engrsih site shows ;) )

but yeah.. would be a nice addition for the fake jdm y0
