I have a 97 Crv Block and a 95 Integra Gsr head. But I dont know what to do should i build the bottom end and throw the head on there stock and see what she does in my 92 civic si or build both top and bottom end and then throw it in the car. The car has a good running engine in it now and is driven everyday.
It pretty much depends on budget. You ought to at least build the bottom end with aftermarket sleeves. A LOT of CRVTEC guys crack the stock sleeves after awhile. My thinking is, the head was built for 8200 rpm, the block was built for (I think) 6800 rpm, so you only NEED to build the block. If you'd like more power, of course, build the head as well. This combo has made over 255bhp NA, and that was with a GSR block, with the extra stroke you're going to use, you ought to get the same thing, at a lower point in the rev range, assuming you build yours the same.
I am in no real hurry to get the motor in the car so the budget is really whatever I want to do. I am definetly gettiing pistons, rod, all new bearings, seals, water/oil pump, head studs, everything I need to rev that bottom end high. But I think I am going to throw that head on stock and see what power I make and then start building it as I go. I have read a lot about these motors and the power they can make N/A so I am pretty pumped to start this project
i'm pumped for you to start that project too ... next summer is definately go time for us pizza guys ahaha. crvtec for you, possibly a built gsr swap into duanne's civic, ITB GSR for darren, boosted b16 for luke ... as for me, i'm not sure. I might chode out on the endyn mod for the blower and just boost the car with an IB spec kit. I was talking to Jeff from ImportBulders the other day and he said the endyn mod is mostly hype and isn't really worth it. And if that's thecase, i'll spend another 1000 and make more power and have a lot more fun. I'm still definately buying the block from them, just not sure what kinda boost i want ... keep the blower or get a snail. 
The sleeves are a weak point in the CRV block, they are 6mm sleeves as opposed to the LS's 9mm. A lot of CRVTEC owners have cracked their sleeves with the high RPM abuse these blocks recieve. FWIW, the guy that runs crvtec.com (if I remember that addy correctly) takes the sleeve isssue seriously enough that he is using a DART block.
Personal preference...I would build a ls/vtec before a crvtec any day. I know of one ls/vtec in particular that is daily driven every day reliably. After seeing that and reading the various issues with the b20 (sleeves being one of them) I would go b18.

Well I had the b20 in my CRX and I figured why go out and spend the money on a b18b when I already have the b20 block. I have talked to a guy that daily drives a CrVtec in a 97 coupe. He said the motor is going to be as reliable as you want them to be. So in other words I figure if I take my time and do it right I should be fine.
