I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Realistically, do the KA26DET, you'll be able to get parts more easily when it breaks down, and you'll keep the right weight distribution for autox. Did you already buy that built KA dude?

yes. i most likely wont be doing a SR swap. that is my third choice. First right now is a fully built Ka 2.6L with 10.1 compression. (makes 206whp) n/a.

I can buy the motor tranny and ecu for 1k. I could get a turbo kit, or buy individual pieces( i want a t3/t4 or straight t4). I am expecting 330 whp at 12lbs of boost, going through an APEXi GT intercooler.

And matt...the rb25det utilizes a t3 clone with a bb design and blah blah blah.This is my second choice if I can afford it.

redtop SR is last on my list.

ya personally i think that sr's are kinda over rated. I think a turboed KA would be more bang for the buck...

2.6L KA? What did you do to come to that displacement? Bore and slight stroke?
