I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

It would hold just as good to carbon fiber as it does to fiberglass.

i hate fiberglass. granted i didn't take it to get painted, but i tried EVERYTHING; sanded it, primered it, bumper paint = chips.

Well you have to realize that unless its vacummed carbon then you are really not saving that much weight. MOst of the real stuff is like 3-5grand a part and thats the real stuff. The resin is vacummed through the matting so it weighs a lot less. Carbon is a nice look and thats what most of the parts are that we get because if you look at the parts weight its really not that big of a difference. I think if you got the parts and want to paint them, then incorporate a design into it to show off the carbon since the main reason is the look.
