I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. Ok so i was driving to fred meyer to get some food... and it was raining soo hard core.. every where i went i peeled out through 4th. I stop at a light and try to put it into first and it wont go in.... I miss the light and finaly get in to gear.. i start going and it does it again... so when i finaly get moving again i am about 40 miles per hour my car locked up compleatly... and i no joke slid 20-30 feet untill i stopped... MY tranny is toast... does anybody have a b series tranny for sale?

I thought nitrous was supposed to get you high

yikes this happen today?? mabye the whole peeling out up till 4th wasnt the best thing for the tranny...

well my tranny was a piece... it had a synchro problem in 3rd and the drain plug was cracked so all the fluid drained out.... but i need a new tranny for sure

Ouch! If you were running the tranny with low fluid I'm sure that had something to do with it. Try calling hmotors, pretty sure they'll have what you need. Good time to get one with lsd if you didn't have it before.

Wow dude im so sorry to hear that. I can't help out but at least your car is still kinda in one piece and that you are okay. Going 40 and your car locking up isnt safe, IMO!

saw it . wanted it . threw a fit . got it.

well the tech at honda was the person at fault for the drain plug.... And i am just going to pull my motor and then build it for ls/vtec.

hells yea! i just called honda and am thinking about ordering a b16 tranny direct from them....
