I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

i like what i like... my crx is going to be mostly jdm oem, with some extras to my liking. most everything on the car will be from japan though...
then i leave my garage and see my del sol with slipstreams, and when the day comes that the del sol is more modified than it is now, it will be a mix of japanese manufacturers and a lot more us manufacturers.
genuine japanese products are nice to have. but then, knock-off products are just as nice.
elitests, when it comes to anything, tend to ruin things. who cares who is "more jdm than thou". do whatever YOU want with the car and fuck what everyone else thinks.

I like subtle mods which help to improve the look of the car in a subtle way. I aint a fan of mad wings and Altezza's at all! I prefer OEM Honda parts to anything. As for wheels, i'd like a genuine set of Mugen wheels etc but its just not affordable so i rock the Rotas cos i think they look good and i like them, which to me is the main thing! If people dont like my car then screw them cos its not that important to me!
The reason that I went all jdm oem on my exterior is because I had NO fitment issues whatsoever. Of course I could have gotten a top quality body kit for the same price, but I also like the oem look.
oem look + perfect fitment = oem. Can't get any better.
The thrill for hard to find parts is in the hunt (like my seats). Just like an old musclehead looking for oem chrome door edging for a 1969 Chevelle. He could get remanufactured, but it doesn't have the brag factor.
