I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

broadway mirrors..

Post by .saint » February 18, 2005

looking to buy a broadway... (i know its my decision but i want some feedback from you guys) i seen alot of people with them and i was told they help ALOT... question to you out there with them...

what mirror do you run?

blue/chrome?
flat/convex?
240mm/270mm/300mm/360mm/400mm?

i also seen that napolex makes a Type A. im not sure what the difference is in that but whatever.. im just looking for a good rearview that works and looks good.

trying to get a feel for a nice mirror i dont want someting 2 big and im not sure how those convex ones would be... some input would be good.

Best invention ever. I don't know how people can drive without them to be quite honest. I know its a typical "ricer" modification, but it actually serves a great purpose, and enables you to see alot better.

I'm running the Napolex Broadway Convex Mirrior (240mm)

Once again I fully endorse this product. haha

have you seen a flat broadway before? im trying to see advantages over convex vs. flat.

im gonna guess convex would be a better purchase because its giving u a different angle on things. i might partake

Actually never seen a flat one. I think there whole purpose is to be convexed. And it does enable you to see quite abit more. I hardly have to shoulder check on my passengers side, because the mirrior enables me to see not only out the back window, but the back passangers window. Its a great product for a daily driven vehicle. I hate not having one in my VW, I think I might go purchase another one for it. :)
