No, stop the BS,. I have done a H22a in a CX for $2900, that is EVERYTHING. The car trapped 103MPH on the stock P13 with very little weight taken out. Please point me to a B-series that can do that.

That car is now tuned on Crome and has ITBs waiting for it. No B-series can touch it money wise.

The handling issues is BS, I want love you to prove the oversteering issue right.

all i hear about the H series is understeer this and understeer that. i never drove one but if so many people can come to the same conclusion then theres gotta be a problem. mabe not a bid one but its still there. i think people are just saying, that strait line wise it'll hall ass GIVEN, but dont x-pect to do any street racing or auto-x, TAKEN

alright alright check this out...i did some hard core searching on honda-tech and found out that they came out with a adapter plate to bolt a b-series tranny on a h22. your probly thinkin why the hell would you do that, but just listen, if you have a B tranny you got your top and rear tranny mount which would be B series and also B series linkage instead of cables, plus the b tranny has tighter gears ( i think ) and you use your B axles and intermediate shaft which ALL bolt right into 92-95 civics. Get the idea? i think this is incredible and if i had cash i would do it. but the adapter plate comes with a drivers side mount also so it all bolts in like a b series. as for the flywheel the package comes with a spacer to set the flywheel out further and a bracket to bolt the B intermediate shaft to the H22. i think all you have to do is shave a little of the back of the engine somewhere i'm not too sure about it but this company has tested these before they were released. ohh and no cutting of the car whatsoever and its like 20 more pounds than a whole b series swap. a guy on honda-tech invented this and had it in a crx dx and i think he hit 12.7 with just intake header exhuast but he stopped making them so this company took the idea that i'm telling you now. the only downfall is its about 900 bucks, but a h22 from hmotors is 1200 and if you have b series shit lying around, there you go. Also i'm pretty sure there is no crossmember isues with integras and civics but there is for EF's. way to go darren! lots of good info there!

anyway - that handling issue is a bunch of garbage. Most people who say it have never experienced driving an h22 swapped eg or something similar. I guess i'm in the same boat for defending my side htough, because i haven't either .... but from everything that i've read ... its not much different than going from d series to b series as far as weight goes ... someone said its like doing a b series swap and having a small child sitting in your engine bay ..... and i know i roll around with kids in my engine bay all the time and still blow around turns!

Esepecially with this kit that darren talked about, weight change is almost minimal from b series to h series ... handling is NOT much of an issue ... if an issue at all

Ahaha lemme get this straight, we're discussing an H22 in a 95 Civic SHOW CAR with airride, and you're throwing trap speeds at me? GTFO.

There is no oversteering issue. UNDERsteer. That's the one where you turn the wheel and the car goes straight, just to clarify. :spank:
