I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Thanks for all the compliments...and constructive criticism.

Sorry to hear that some don't like the Aztec Green Pearl (which btw there is a big difference between the "teal")...and she is getting the same, just a fresh coat. It's a rare color, only 400 2nd gen GS-R's wore this color, so I want to keep that original.

As far as the valve cover...LOL! That's how I bought it, it's stock, stripped of the black, and it's just stained. But I do agree that the beige is nice. I think that I am going to paint it black though, along with the AEM, and getting a header that's black as well.

The DA is not getting paint, the body is pretty straight, and it's already been repainted.

Seems either I didn't post the other pics of the DA...or they were edited? Maybe I was just too tired...so here a few more shots :

Now with the dash...and correspnding pieces- Image $20 for the seat, filling in until I get the cage, harness and racing seat- Image Something to help with the shifts...and it was FREE- Image Installed these last week, got them for less than $600, Ground Control's and Koni Yellow's- Image The shoes she came with, but I am going to rock them on the DB2 for a couple of weeks- Image She came with these as well- Image And here is the new radiator and fan assembly- Image As for the DB2 when she gets back from body and paint, she will have JDM side moldings, one piece head lights, GC's as well, JDM side markers, JDM H emblems and the JDM DOHC VTEC badge on the rear hatch glass.

BTW did I mention the DB2 doesn't even have 54K ORIGINAL miles!!! And I bought her for just under $4K. I really shopped for both of these cars...and I got really lucky.

More pics to come of the DB2 when she gets back from paint, and once I have the DA up and running I will get more pics.

Thanks again!

:)

Yeah...I wish I would have taken pics the day that I bought her. I mean really, Oh well.

I will keep you guys updated as things progress.

Just picked up partial sponsorship for the DA, so hopefully things will fall into place a little sooner.

Well thought I would throw in a teaser post about the GS-R...

...I pick her up tomorrow...or Saturday morning! WOOT!

The Buddy Club's will be going on her, but 3 of the rims were scratched by the company that put the new tires on, and they are replacing them with a brand new set. They are on back order until next week...but it's all good. So I will prolly not have the GS-R out on the road for another week and a half. No rush for me.

I will post pics up tomorrow night.

As far as the DA, she is on the back burner still so I haven't had much time for her. But it's ok, she knows she still has a piece of my heart, and that her time is coming.
