I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

So what you players think?

Had myself a little weekend project, Bzaster was there too. Good times. Thought it was about time I had that little fun mod the famous JDM EK air vent/accs. pocket, to go along with my type r armest eliminator, compliments of jon  Instead of leaving my cruise control switch and dash light dimmer behind my dash and not be able to use them, I busted out the dremel and cut away.

The result? A coin try filled with switches that can't be closed :haha: But I think it looks dope! Keep it or buy new tray/under steering wheel peice and start over?

The flash makes my car look so dirty...and if you were wondering, the cruise control button sticks out further because it needed room for the button to click into, when its activated they line up perfect

god damn I need a new steering wheel....

It looks so pimpalicious in person. Hella jdM yoOOOoooo. I say keep it like that. maybe we can fill the spaces around the buttons somehow and make it totally flush in the coin tray. Too bad you took the pics at night with the flash on which makes your interior look all light greay-blueish.

I originally wanted to do something with the lower part of the usdm vent, because the buttons sit flush in their little holders. Maybe we can fab something up next time your up here

Could you cut the back out somehow so it closes? I think that would rock even more.

The vent fit, but there was the smallllllest gap on the top right corner, look REAL hard. Im in Long Beach, but Banzai is in Visalia(near fresno), I was just up visiting for the weekend.
