You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. so uhm okay... I got totally bored with my ee8 (EDM CRX siR for those who don't know) and started looking for an s14a (quick everybody go sell your Honda and buy a 240 so you can go drift mad tite hype y0). But uhm... those things are pretty rare here in Holland, so basically...

I'm not interested in spending the amount on it I'd have to...

So I decided to find me an EK hatch. There were THREE demands:
1. no red car, I hate red (although a friend owns a dark red one, which is a breathtaking color)
2. electrical shit inside, I hate manual opening of windows and such... I guess the EE8 spoiled me
3. 99-00 model, because it's the facelift and that just looks better imho

so uhm... basically, I found a green (what the hell is the name? dunno yet) EK3. a slow ass boring 1.5i LS VTEC-E but hey... fuel prices are at an all time high in Europe, so a little cheaper driving is nice until I find me a real engine to slap in the bay...

She's from 2000 and had a grand total of less than 40k KMS on the odo... AKA: around 25k miles I guess...

She needs hella work though, to get anywhere near the car she can be... so I'll be ordering Tein Flex this week :p

ah hell... no more talk, some pics are in order... remember, this is a bone stock EDM EK3, with only some audio stuff (speakers front and back and a radio + cd changer)

no idea yet... swap is far future (about a year I guess)... but K20 from a DC5 jdm type R sounds good to me...

or a simple b18c5

dunno yet...

first things first... handling is a big issue for me and this car has none... sooo...

Tein Flex
Tein EDFC
Rear swaybar
Front sway might need to be swapped out for a bigger one
strut bars, tie bar
maybe some more monkeybar stuff inside, depending on how it feels after the rest

after that (or in the mean time) stuff like wheels, full 5lug suspension swap including brakes, some optical modding (lips, grill, interiour, stuff like that) have to be done as well...

basically, this car is bone stock but needs to end up pretty sick... lots of work and money will go in I guess... and after all that who knows... maybe I'll leave it slow just to fuck with others and have fun still beating them in the twisties :p

i hate the grill as well... and about the swap: why make that a priority, when brakes and suspension suck monkey balls? no offence, but i rather have fun with an underppowered car than kill myself with an overpowered one...

power is nothing without control my friend...

in my ee8 I could outrun BMW X5's etc in corners, while I was on dry street tires and they were on winter tires...
