I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Thanks .saint.

And The Civic, it was a buffing compound actually for paint. Don't know the name off the top of my head, but I will get that info for you.

Thanks again for all the great comments...again, I will update once I have the front bumper on, and have cleaned up all the dust in the engine bay and interior from being at the shop.

:)

anyway, thanks for the write up... just one last question... was there a specific type of "buffing" compound you used? i've heard people use a special polish for plastic... but i've never had any luck finding it in stores... i'm just curious as to what you used... thanks man and once again... the car looks great! one of the cleanest looking DAs i've seen...
LOL! As far as the compound I used it was Einszett Metallic Polish. Unfortunately it is no longer available. But you can use either 3M Swirl Mark Remover, or 3M Perfect It II...or even Meguiars Plastic Polish or ScratchX. Lots of polishing compounds will work. :)

Yes. :)

And thanks to all! Makes it ok to spend the money on a project like this when other car enthusiasts enjoy the progress!
