not sure man, i'm not to familiar with the interior of 96-98 ek's.....saint will know, wait till he sees, or just pm him...my guess is no? the climate control is diff.

they make a single DIN block off that will fit the 96-98 controls.

no, the ctr climate control or si climate control wont fit. Not sure about the 96-98 ctr's though, i would imagine those would fit

converting a 96-98spec climate control to 99-00 spec is alot of work. since the 99-00 is motorized and the 96-98 is all slide.

any 99-00spec CC will fit the 96-98 hole. but u need alot of parts to make them work right. all the wiring harnesses, the blower box. all kinda of stuff. unless you are going for looks i wouldnt attempt it without looking into it. it can be done but im not sure whats all involved. i just know its a project and will cost a bit of money.
