I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. If you have a question about which motor to put in your Civic or "which car would win if we ran them", post them here, if you must post them at all.

All threads on such topics will be locked.

The Rules:

1) Which motor is right depends on your individual situation. What's your budget? How mechanically inclined are you? Where do you live and what are the laws? What are you going to use the car FOR? Autocross? Street? Drag? Those are just the different questions to ask yourself that I can think of off the top of my head, find out about the different engines and decide for yourself.

2) Which one will win? Run them and find out. done.

Would my D15b5 win vs a 5.0 mustang? the mustang has a supercharger and i have a cold air intake, headers and a muffler clamped onto stock exhaust!1 can anyone help??

yea ... obviously you were kidding .... the civic will start pulling WAY before 3760 in 4th ..... that is if you have your vtak lowered to 1240 rpm and your hood squirters rerouted to your intake manifold for optimum cooling capabilities

Nah, I accidently cut my vtech belt when i was trying to take off my a/c
