Haha, I think most people saw the car in the background and didn't realize it was a miata or something.

That's a cool one munster, I think Jon might've posted pics of it awhile back. God that's such a badass idea. There's a shop in tampa called Z fever that's done at least 2 (that I know of) SR miatas. 4 cyl conversions are becoming more popular, it seems, than the tried-and-true 302 swap.

Someday, if I have a lot of cash to blow on the miata, it's going totally jap on the outside and supercharged 306 underhood. Contrast baby!

Rack and pinion (spelled correctly I think) had to be moved up and under body support moved back for the oil pan to fit. There is more to this swap than most people know. The s2000 cluster had to be used for electrical reasons along with fuel system and much more.

Oh man that is going to be NICE when it's done! Got any details? Like, which parts have you had to fab and what sort of barriers have you had to overcome that you were'nt necessarily expecting?

kind of fab as you go, there is no book on it this swap. like i said

allot to list, there is allot of fab work because this swap is never done.
