I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Question...
Hey guys Im going to be purchasing a ls swap for my eg here within the next week or so. I need some advice in ordering a clutch/flywheel/header/intake manifold? I plan on running n/a for a while then maybe next summer boosting it. I need something that will work for both applications. Basically I have no clue what I should get for clutch and flywheel. Let me know what you guys think thanks.

I have an ACT 2100lb clutch and street lite flywheel. I'll let you know how it works on a boosted LS tonight.
Intake manifold...look into Edlebrock. I know a few people that has em. Never heard anything bad about em.
Header...don't bother if you're going FI. It'll do just fine without it for the time being.

i've got an exedy stage 2 thick ceramic clutch and lightend crome-moly flywheel i luv it, takes some gettin used to tho hard to drive in traffic, for intake manifold i think u should look into skunk2 i've heard good things especially fro na which is wat im gettin next, as for the header keep it stock if u plan on boosting it anyway or pick up a cheap one and resell it when u go turbo

Rust anywhere is a bitch. And yea, its hard to find a rustfree EG.98BomexCiv wrote:Okie thanks man for your help, I dont think Im building an Eg now I think Im going with an Ek due to the fact that I cannot find an Eg around Western Pa with no rust. And from what I hear its a real pain in the ass to try to fix the rear 1/4's. Thanks though
