I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

carbon fiber
What do you guys think about a carbon fiber hood, trunk, paint the roof black, and then do carbon fiber mirrors (this is still up in the air). Also should (if I get the carbon fiber) go ahead now and paint the roof black?

This is exactly my concern about buying carbon products. They will not match, unless the manufacturer uses consistently the same fabric, from the same supplier, and they are picky about the thickness throughout, which unfortunately I doubt it's at that level yet. The black roof, I say forget it.embracethehorror wrote:yea mean if you get a carbon hood and wing and truck/hatch, if you buy ones for the best price you are going to have miss matching weave patterns. that would make me go crazy if that were on my car.
