I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

well, one or two probably will remember, I was having issues with what I thought was my clutch. Car would shake like a drunk epileptic with parkinson's when I'd start out slowly. I'll check again tommorrow, but it appears it was all from the battery (and most likely the alternator as well). That said, I installed an optima yellow top tonight and no more stutter!? New alternator will be going in next week after I move into my new house =) And have a nice driveway/garage to install at. I need to do the belts anyways.

Oh ya, she just hit 100k miles today. Just getting broken in!

Don't ask me. I'm not saying it was necessarily the clutch, that's just what everyone mechanics included were telling me. My guess is it was alternator combined with shitty battery. My thought is, on a slow launch, rpm's would be low, power draw on the battery would be high, and so it would be misfiring until the rpm's came up more. ??? I dunno... I know at higher rpm's it never missed a beat.

I think it's just because it was OLD. I have a feeling it's the battery that came with the car. I know the batter nor the alternator could keep up with my system when it was in there :>
