I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Post by Sean @ NDF » August 21, 2005

dur, am I stupid or right?

If i have an aftermarket wheel, and lets say, an omni power quick release hub. I dont need anything additional to put it on my car right?

the quick release acts as the normal hub correcT?

Wüüt!, another problem that I'm interested in learning the solution to. I already have a hub on my Nissan, but I don't like the wheel I've got. So, I'd like to get a quick release (one with a locking cover for when the wheel is off) but I'd like to use a wheel not often used with Nissans. I'll research this as well.

I'm not sure either but that's what i want to say. I mean think about it, if you had to put on an adapter hub for the after market steering wheel then mount the quick release hub to the adapter hub, then by the time you were done, you would be able to rest your chin on the friggen steering wheel and baby the brakes so your face didnt smash into it every time you stopped the car..... :?

If you buy a quick release you will also need a separate hub where the quick release connects to.
