I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Anyone ever order anything from hmotorsonline.com? I'm having no luck finding a low mileage OBD2 B18b locally, so I am turning back to the online community. Their prices are right in line with everyone else, but I was just wondering what they are like to deal with. I'll be ordering it through a shop and having it shipped there so I don't know if that would make a difference on how they treat me.

I just don't want a motor full of water due to steam cleaning, and I don't want a motor with 50,000 miles and one oil change.

Let me know what you know or have heard...

Ok. Ok. You bastard. I bought the swap. It's sitting in my garage at the moment waiting for parts to come in.

hmotorsonline is personally kind of a bitch to deal with. we've gotten one or 2 motors from them, and they were kind of on the high price side, and weren't very speedy with their delivery.

you pay for what you get. hmotorsonline has some of the most COMPLETE swaps you can possibly find, and they arent very pricey at all IMO. considering you actually get the full swap when you order it, i think their prices are very competetive. if you wanna buy your swap and dont wanna have to worry about buying all kinda of stupid sensors, wires, etc that all adds up to a lot of money in the end, go hmotorsonline.com

i didn't really find the hmotorsonline to me much more complete than any motors i've gotten elsewhere, yeah, it came with axles, but they were shot, and yeah it came with motor mounts, but half the time you don't need them. i guess the shifterlinkage coming with it was a good deal. maybe for the newer motors, they are not bad, but for the 1st gen b16a's, they weren't really worth the money. still a better price than jdmhondaparts.com though.

my buddy bought a b20 for his crx from hmotors ... took around 2 weeks or so from the time he ordered it till the crate arrived at his door. When it came it was wrapped really nice and everything was clean. Sure that's only minor stuff, but regardless - everything was mint and he was really happy with it. He's even happier now that it's in his car (too bad he lost his liscense till march tho haha)
