I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

as for the selling of hybrid tech, well your gonna have to take my word for it, cause I'm in the loop and you're, well...not.

A company does not tell to the public that they buy stuff from competitors, but the sellers are pretty quick to point out that they sell it show show there knowledge is more advanced, which it is over the competotion....don't take my word for it just look at any auto rating rag they put it above the rest of the lot in every review.

Yes mitsu is a bigger co. or at least a broader one. Sure total agreement. Toyota is just better and larger world wide.

Damn, i feel like I'm on the debating team, or else i'm trying to sell you a toyota via this forum. well were dead at work so once i switch you from a Honda,m what r u gonna buy?

hmmm, if i were going to buy another car that was not a honda, it would be.......an infiniti g35 coupe lol. man you keep countering yourself

"Honda hybrids are gas engines suplenmented by electric motors, Toyota hybrids are electric motors supplimented by gas engines."

and no offense, but you are just a car salesman, they dont share engineering information and things that are traded amongst companies with you.

So when I go to tech. training and they tell the auditiorium that Honda, Ford, and Nissan bought hybrid technology from us, I should not beleive it?
"Honda hybrids are gas engines suplenmented by electric motors, Toyota hybrids are electric motors supplimented by gas engines."
how is this countering myself? I don't beleive your following me whatsoever, sorry

In that regard, I suppose, I should question them if the :"CAMARY" has a 2.4 litre four cylinder as well ,if they tell that. Since they don't like to share engineering information to "just car salesman" I'm sorry, did Honda start telling "the truth" on this topic to backyard wrench turners while I wasn't paying attention? You shouldn't speculate as much as you do.

It's ok to question the answers, but find something better to question then information exchanges between automotive manufacturers.

I really think your wasting your time ( as well as mine ) trying to prove different. I deal with this shit as a profession to stoneheads, hint, hint, everyday. Please don't challenge my product knowledge anymore, i have more productive work to attend to.

It all boils down to this, you can except this as fact, or not. Its not gonna faze me in either decision that you pick.

Ask munster or tommybanzai or saint, I know information on the cars i sell extremly well. they will speak for me, so i don't have to.[/quote]

no you shouldnt, because you are AT A TOYOTA SLANTED "TECH TRANING" IE they will tell you what they want you to tell the customers, even if its a lie. I am not going to confirm or deny that they have shared information, but the fact that you are basing your information off of what some regional toyota sales manager told you is a joke. get it on paper, from toyota and/or honda engineers. i bet you honda tells its people that they sold toyota the info, i bet that GM tells their reps that they sold nissan on the idea of the G35....see where i am going with this?

yup, nowhere.

They tell us the advantages over competitive products as well as the disadvanteages vs a higher rated product. I've been to several different franchises training schools, they tell you how to overcome the cars shortfalls to better comprable products.

You're the guy that gives us a bad name, that tells everybody "they lied to me". This is not the case anymore witht he majority or dealerships...no lies and bullshit, unlike how it was yrs ago.

Have you been there? Did you sit in on these training sessions? You don't even know who instructs the training...it's not "regional management". Toyota hires independent companies to research there product vs competitiors for an unbias training and experience, so both good and bad points are brought out about a new car.

Damn your ignorance is bold and knee-deep, and worse off persistent. Please lay off your chatter and talk about something you have a leg to stand on, which, by the way, mustn't be tire selection as well.

Sorry man gotta call you out on your incorrect points and by the way i have paper stating the information I'm providing...you do not :D
