I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Once petroleum goes up...it never drops back down. Maybe a few cents...then we think we're getting a deal.
I remember when I started driving. It was 80-90 some cents per gallon. When it hit a dollar everyone bitched. It's been steadily climbing ever since.

I know it's way different. It's not a cost effective alternative either.

we should collect methan gasses from compost and use it at a source of fuel.
A woman who lives in udluth dose it, and she can heat her hous all winter off of the gasses collected from her familys compost (mostly filled with plant waste and ect, no human waste is needed)

It's becoming more and more common that people are using the heat produced subgrade to heat their homes too.
It's just that people tend to bitch, and not do anything about it. Don't drive an SUV w/ a 5.7L engine and bitch about gas prices when you have a 50 gallon tank and get 10mpg.
Example: Rather than bitching that home heating oil prices went up, or that my gas bill is outrageous...I doubled the insulation in my new house and went with highly efficient electric units that are on timers to only use power at off-peak times.

Yeah, I hate SUV drivers that bitch about gas prices. My mom drives a V10 (gas) Exursion, but she doesn't bitch, or i'd bitch right back.

I'm buying a bicycle, or an old ass low CC motorcycle. No, not because of gas, but because I just spent the last 10 minutes finding a parking spot.

Hahaha, I park in a parking lot, when I get a 2nd car, the hatch gets moved into the garage next to my parking lot. OWNED.
