I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

New cars update:

Post by benjamin » October 02, 2005

Well, a lot of stuff is being put out by both Subaru and Mitsu, and alot of car companies with the tokyo auto show coming up.

So heres what I got for new car information.

new Hyundai Accent SR
Image new mitsubishi sportback concept, supposed to be based after the bodystylings of the upcoming evo 10, also built on the same platform
Image also the official evolution 10 concept
Image Image and the new subaru b5 hatch which is in the concept stages but should be in production as a 2007 model they say. Image I am still waiting to see what toyota and nissan do for the tokyo auto show, what they plan on releasing,

I can see the similaritys. But I still think the evo x concept definatly shattered my gameplan on my next car. I have to wait for the evo x to come out now.

I haven't been too impressed with the latest new cars and/or concepts.

Seems to me that most carmakers are in a rut. I dunno.

There is just a sift in the style carmakers are going. It started in europe and now japanese cars are shifting as well... i.e. look at bmw and how they are building the ne m6... its completly different than classic bmw.

I think were in the new 80's

a huge change is going to occur in the way we make cars but we are not quite sure what that change will be, like the 80's was a huge change in the auto industry both in style and preformance, the japanese and europeans are re-inventing themselves, the US has already done that in some regard with retro-style, and I think we are gonna see a few years of weird changes and shifts in style
