At least the evo and STi are reasonably priced. Who fucking cares if Nissan brings over the GT-R if they can't bring it in under 50k$?
You're fucking nuts if you think that it's going to cost anywhere close to that. It's being built to compete with the 911 in the US market. A base 911 costs "$69,300" msrp. Nissan/Infinity will have to drastically undercut the price due to the cult 911 following. Nobody would buy a GT-R in the US if they could have a 911 for less. I could buy a R34 GT-R that had been fully legalized by the now retardly-fucked-over MotoRex for $95k.
The GT-R isn't going to be as cheap as a STi or Evo, because it's not in the same market as an STi or Evo. I guaran-fucking-tee that the most traded-in cars for a GT-R are those that are dominating the import-sports car market right now. People will trade-up to the greater performance when it arrives, don't kid yourself. The GT-R has always and will always be a better, and therefore more expensive, car than the Evo/STi cars.
By the way, that new Evo looks better every time I see it, especially when keeping in mind that the majority of the stupid gills and swoops won't make it to production.
