I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

terror has KYB AGXs on his hatch. They are adjustable front and rear.

I really have no basis for my opinion other than it being an opinion...but I would go Koni. I have Koni reds right now with Eibach Sportlines. I love the ride, but it's squatting too much on a launch.

I'm going either Jic Magic coilovers or Omnipower. They're not that much more than a spring/strut combo like temp said.

Upon my reading on Honda-Tech, there have been numerous problems with JIC and Omni both.

I havent read any specifif threads on JIC yet, namely because they didnt concern me, but the Omni ones kinda scared me. Main problem is the shock housing on the front dampers is too weak and shears very easily. Plus, I'm not too fond of the ride.

I know now that I want a setup with Koni Yellows, I'm just not sure if I want springs, or sleeves.

..well speaking form experience.......I too have H&R race springs wit the KYB AGX's.........i've been rocking this set-up for nearly 9mos. already and had no problems/complaints using it as daily driving.. However on my teg the settings are (1-4) all around........i only spent $450 total for the springs and struts brand new. not too shabby when compared to other prices.

i dont recommend sleeves to anyone ever, after using them on my CRX. I first used my friends set from his 92-95 civic (ahhaah i borrowed them i just wanted my shit dropped), obviously it didnt ride right and that was on stock dampers, but then when i did my swap i ordered a set of sleeves from GC with custom spring rates for the swap and got my AGX's. no matter what i set my AGX's to, no matter the ride height the ride was crap, bounced all over the place, felt like the front end was "floating" when going into turns, etc etc etc. I bought progress auto swap springs and the ride quality improved DRAMATICALLY, i mean it was a night and day difference. If you want a coilover, get a real deal fully threaded coilover (progress auto sells a nice set and it will run you just about what a set of yellows/sleeves will run you), other then that i recommend springs. Just get a good set of springs, i have been hearing lots of bad stuff about h&r lately

As long as you were smart with the GC's it should be a good setup since they mount into the grooves of the Konis and there more like a built coilover than just a slip-on sleeve. I had dropzones sleeves on my 240sx and it was by far the worst ride quality ever. Right now I have Koni's w/ nuespeed springs, the spring suck ass so I cant really judge how i feel about the konis, but im probobly going to get omnipower full coilovers for the hatch if i keep it.
