i heard dry ice works the best..

what i did was used a heat gun and heated the shit up and then used a paint scraper and scraped the shit off. then after it was all off i used PB blaster and cleaned up the rest.

That's better than my way, do what jawn did. I had to use one of those dish washing scratching things to get some of it off and damn my arms were so sore after. And using razor blade will seriously damage the nerves in your finger tips lol but it was all I had. I went to look for dry ice at grocery stores and people said it can be found at some 7 11's so I checked there. I was to anxious to start so I went ahead and did it my way, but I guess you can go to baskin robins or certain ice cream store and they'll have dry ice. good luck man you have a job ahead of you.

Heat gun and scraper is definitely easy. PB Blaster takes the small shit off that you can't scrape. It also eats the paint. haha.

yea ive already begun with the paint scraper/heat gun treatment, but damn it takes forever and a day. its a 5th gen prelude, and has like 2 million times more tar than all the civics and tegs. a good friend of mine has convinced me that i need to go get some dry ice and do it that way. down here they sell it at publix

haha, im a retard, i just spent $30 on TARING my trunk :-/

but im not conserned bout weight, i got a p.o.s, i just used the undercoating as a cheap version of DYNAMAT, it works pretty good

dammit i hate having a prelude....theres so much of that crap in there its not even funny. dry ice works great, i got almost all of it out today, had to quit cause i thought my wrist was gonna fall off from swinging the hammer. all i need is a tiny section in my trunk and im done. theres a ton of weight in the lude just from that crap, ill be weighing it all tomorrow so ill fill you guys in.

I might get new sheets of that stuff and put it back in after I get my car painted. I wouldnt mind having my interior painted and then having the tar sheets being black... I just think it doesnt look that great if the tar is painted over.

I plan on keeping my interior in though, and plus I made a small ding with a screw driver in the back where the little ridge things go up, not abig deal but I'm picky.

No tar is the bomb, but takes tons of work. I'm gonna find dry ice to get my floor off this winter, so far me and john only got the back areas clean...gotta get the floor off too!!!!!
