I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Garret Q? Gawd I'm such a n00b

I'm thinking, if I buy an FMII setup (which includes a GT28 snail), is that already a "Disco Potato", and if it isn't one can be bolted in place correct?

The ubiquitous FMII:

It's my understanding that the Disco Potato is a GT28R, which is presumably better. Any input?

Basically, Garrett developed this particular turbo on a B15 Sentra with a chameleon paintjob. The frumpy rounded lines of the B15 and the psychadelic paint earned the car the nickname "Disco Potato" which was later passed on to the turbo itself.

As Munster provided, Disco Potato = Garrett GT28RS

lol, Banzai called it a "DP"
