I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

My 87 CRX Si *still in the making* *56K GO HOME*

Post by LilLowEK » June 20, 2003

Well I bought this car for 600 bucks. It runs great. The tranny was messed up. I ran it w/ that tranny for 2 years, and finally got another Si tranny in there along w/ a new clutch kit. :)

The car has 184XXX miles on it at this point. It is pretty stock since I had to dump so much time and cash into the car to get it back in shape. Below are some pics, and there were so many parts I had to switch. Below is a quick list off the top of my head.

doors
moon roof
hatch
back bumper
back bumper cover
tail lights
exhaust *then I got my magnaflow*
the side skirts
all the rear panels inside
seats
had to patch up the floor boards
etc, etc, etc

Also the car was wrecked in 5 places when I bought it.

I need to get a new hood, drivers side fender, and the plastic piece w/ the H on it. I have a new front bumper I need to put on. Then I plan on changing moon roofs again because I now have a better one. Or I hope. :) Then I will repaint the car again. :)

My ground control coil overs and eibach springs came in a few days ago for the rear. I will try to get them on Sunday. :)

Pics below, easy now please. First pics are when I bought it, then up to the most recents I have. :)

These pics have some yellow shit on the car. I was trying to cover up the flaws until this year. Mostly where there is a sticker there is a little flaw. :( Also w/ the inside, the seats need replaced so I got some gay yellow seatcovers. I then did the panels thinking it was cool or something. *bangs head into wall*

Yes, I was a little bit of a ricer last year. :( Its sad, the CRX Is de-riced now though. Staying that way. :bang: Forgive me? :)

Last one here for the moment. I got some of a bandpass box that I bought and put in the hatch, etc. But this one is w/ my ex g/f. :bang:

I love seeing project pics like that. Anyone can buy a new car and bolt some parts on it, but it takes a love of the car and the work to fix one up. Thumbs up on your project.
