you know that yellow silicon glue around the bolts and shit in the back? welll when I was taking my tar out... the tar went over the silicon (or whatever it is) so I wanted to scrub the tar off so it wouldnt be kinda gooey when my car got painted. Well when I took the tar off of the yellow cement glue shit I took some of that off too.
Do you think I should put more in before I get my car painted?
also what is that glue stuff called?
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
rear interior tar = gone.
i left my glue alone. im not sure what it is. but im guessing use some kind of silicone to seal all that back up.

If it bothers you just get some clear silicone. That'll seal it up.
I'm going to get a set of Bride buckets this winter I think. I'm not putting a rear seat in, though. I'm thinking about just carpeting all of it.

the glue is actually called seam sealer. youll notice it on most of the overlapping seams in the car. its so that water doesnt seap up into your car. if it doesnt rain much and flood much where you live, youd ont really need it. some of mine came off in the process, but whoever is painting your car shouldnt have a problem throwing some more on there. i know all my seams are getting overed again. i live in miami, and we might as well live at the bottom of the ocean, IT SUCKS HERE!
